Greeting cards

For our very last POD assignment, we had to make 3 greeting cards of different occasions with the same theme. I decided to go with the theme bunnies and seasons. I went with autumn, winter and spring, celebrating Halloween, Christmas, and Easter.

Here are some pictures of the cards:

Nessie! The giant sea monster float.

For this assignment, we were required to make big colourful floats for the colout theory assignment. My group (me, Marwa, Kelly, Hannah, and Sean) decided to make a float of Loch Ness (a mythical sea monster in Scotland). I took us around 3 weeks excluding the planning to finish this structure. We had a lot of fun making Nessie (yeah, we gave her a name... and a gender). All of us grew very attached to her and was hoping that we don't have to take her apart after the presentation. Luckily, Ms Lisa decided to hang her topsy-turvy in the studio. :)

Here are some pictures of the whole process
(from the making to the floating!) :

And we are done for the night!

One Sunday evening...

With the help of two kind gentlemen (Dzauqi and Jasper)
We decided to test if Nessie floats.

Hmmm... not very balanced.

Awww it's okay Nessie we'll fix you in no time

They decided to take the shortcut

It's night time and Marwa says "lets call it a day"
we were all very tired indeed

Adding Nessie's 'skin'

Marwa starts from the tail

Hannah starts from the head

Success! What a beauty she is

Patching continues the next day
